Violence - Effects from

It distressed the House of Justice to learn of the horrendous suffering inflicted upon you by your parents for most of your life, and it warmly commends you for the courage and magnanimity with which you have striven to cope with this debilitating experience. That you were providentially accorded the privilege to recognize and embrace the Cause of God for this Day is surely a sign that you are surrounded by the strengthening grace of Bahá’u’lláh, Who is well able to heal your afflictions and bring you ultimate joy. Indeed, in the Hidden Words, He thusly has exhorted every illumined heart: “The healer of all thine ills is remembrance of Me, forget it not.”

The House of Justice has noted with sympathetic understanding the despair to which you have been driven by the recurrent incidences of cruelty and neglect you have been made to endure. It well appreciates, too, the urgency of your quest for relief from the consequent stresses that compound your ill health and exhaust your spirit.
