For all properties, either owned or leased, a written purchase agreement or rental agreement is essential, as is a properly recorded deed or lease. Legal counsel should review and, if necessary, modify the purchase or rental agreement before the officers of the Spiritual Assembly sign it or make any written commitments. No oral commitments should be made for real property.
