Either travel yourselves, personally, throughout those states or choose others and send them, so that they may teach the souls.
- ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Tablets of the Divine Plan, p. 21
Ye have observed that while in America many souls in the utmost of supplication and entreaty desired to offer some gifts, but this servant, in accord with the exhortations and behests of the Blessed Perfection, never accepted a thing, although on certain occasions we were in most straitened circumstances. But on the other hand, if a soul for the sake of God, voluntarily and out of his pure desire, wishes to offer a contribution (toward the expenses of a teacher) in order to make the contributor happy, the teacher may accept a small sum, but must live with utmost contentment.
- ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Bahá’í World Faith, p. 426-427
During the second half of the Five Year Plan, the society-building power of the Faith must be released within thousands of clusters where programmes of growth need to be initiated, reinforced, or extended. The challenge for Bahá’í institutions and their agencies will be to furnish the means to accompany all those who cherish a pure and earnest desire for a better world, whatever their degree of involvement in the process of spiritual education so far, and help them translate that desire into the practical steps that day by day and week by week accrete to build vibrant, flourishing communities.

Quote of the Day
Jamal 7 Qudrat 182 B.E.
Lechery is clearly forbidden by Bahá’u’lláh (See Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 49) and Shoghi Effendi has stated that a 'chaste and holy life', according to the teachings of the Faith, implies a condemnation of 'all manner' of 'sexual vices'. (See Advent of Divine Justice, p. 25)
