In seeking clarification of Bahá’u’lláh’s prohibition against sodomy, you should note that whatever the connotations of the word “sodomy” in the English language, the term used in Bahá’u’lláh’s Writings, namely, “lavát”, merely means anal copulation by a male with another male or with a woman."
